Not only was Avalon was a place of wisdom and worship, it is where King Arthur’s Excalibur sword (the ultimate symbol for responsibility, leadership and power) was forged and where the famous King was eventually laid to rest.

Meet Laura Cargill Slinn
Laura discovered the magic and power of the Quantum Change Process™, NLP, Hypnosis and Time Line Therapy™ first hand while dealing with physical illness and emotional pain leading to infertility. After much struggling to have a child and grim diagnosis for her reproductive health, Laura chose to pursue a range of holistic approaches to infertility which included the aforementioned modalities.
Within months, Laura experienced profound and rapid healing physically, emotionally and spiritually. She not only conceived and gave birth to a healthy child, but has she has been healthy ever since. Her own remarkable experience was a catalyst for her spiritual awakening and is just one of the many reasons she was compelled to leave a successful career as an award winning Art Director and devote herself to helping others achieve extraordinary results in their own lives.
Passionate about this powerfully transformative work, Laura is dedicated to utilizing leading edge mind-body tools to teach others how they can transcend issues they are facing by eliminating core limiting beliefs that are standing between them and the lives they deserve.
Today, Laura is a Board Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP, TLT, Coaching and Hypnosis. She is honoured to be coaching and training clients individually and in groups in both therapeutic and business settings.
Meet Ernie Pavan
Ernie has been a leader in the world of education for the past 31 years. He began his professional career as a high school English teacher and eventually transitioned into his role as a Guidance Counsellor.
Meanwhile, Ernie’s passion for self-exploration and self-actualization led him to travel extensively throughout East Africa, and the Far and Middle East including India and Nepal. He was inspired by many experiences throughout these travels to bridge the gap between the philosophies and teachings of the East and the science of the West.
Upon his return, he pursued training in complementary treatment modalities and in 2000 opened his first personal and self-development centre that focused on assisting people to identify and overcome the core root of whatever was ailing or holding them back from living the life they want to live on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level. Over the past 21 years, Ernie has had the pleasure of serving thousands of individuals as well as teams and organizations.
In 2009, Ernie left the world of public teaching and dedicated his efforts to training Neuro Linguistic Programming and Coaching along with his signature modality, The Quantum Change Process™. Ernie is a Board Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy, NLP Coaching and Hypnosis.
This led to the creation of Avalon Empowerment Inc. in 2015. Avalon Empowerment is a comprehensive training institute specializing in the top technologies for quantum change. Together with Laura Slinn and Kelley Oswin, Ernie continues to train and empower impact driven coaches and entrepreneurs in the tools of Evolved NLP to amplify their results and revenue and increase the consciousness of those who want to make a difference in the lives of others.
Meet Kelley Oswin
As a patient at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Kelley discovered her innate ability to connect with others at the age of 5. Supporting and teaching another child about the surgery she had just experienced provided that child with comfort and confidence and it was the beginning of a life of purpose for Kelley.
Kelley completed her degree in Social Work in 1997 and worked for 19 years in the social service sector providing counselling support. She later moved into a supervisory role supporting frontline helping professionals through Clinical Supervision which is a process of support of best practices, accountability, emotional and mental wellbeing support for those doing “the work” with others.
Kelley’s life dramatically changed in 2006 when she was gifted the opportunity to attend a pilgrimage to Angers France. Her journey of self-exploration, spiritual development, reconciliation and personal growth led her to seek more.
In 2012, Kelley was introduced to and trained in the tools of Evolved NLP and the Quantum Change Process™ and they completely changed the way she worked with people and how she wanted to show up for helping professionals.
In 2020, Kelley was excited to join in partnership with Avalon Empowerment to implement progressive change in the coaching industry. Her focus is to provide Clinical Supervision programming to coaches being trained through Avalon Empowerment and to ensure they are supported with best practices in the work they do with others. This is revolutionary in the coaching industry and Avalon Empowerment continues to lead the charge of ensuring that coaches trained by them are always engaged in professional development upgrading and are also personally supported.
Kelley is a true believer that no one person should do this work in isolation and Avalon is committed to providing community and support to all its members.
