With two decades of experience as a trauma-informed mental health professional, Kelley Oswin left a long-standing position in social services to pursue her coaching career full-time. As a result of merging her experiences in both the coaching industry and traditional therapy, she offers the highest-level guidance to coaches and therapists who wish to have greater insights, results, and success in their work.

Kelley's years of experience working with trauma survivors in a clinical setting is of paramount importance to this workshop, and is key to all the trauma-aware coaching techniques we teach to our students.

Following a profound awakening in 1987, Ernie Pavan began a lifelong journey of self-awareness and self-actualization. A leader in the world of education and training for the past thirty years, Ernie’s passion now lies in training others to be and to facilitate the change they wish to see in the world.

Ernie began coaching and training other coaches at a time when most people had no idea what coaching is. He's one of the most experienced trainers in our industry and he focuses on training transformational coaches to work at the deepest of levels with their clients.

Laura Slinn exited a successful career as a creative director in 2011 after experiencing spontaneous healing of endometriosis and infertility. She was compelled to learn and teach others to transform their lives using the same tools that helped her.

Since then she's been at the forefront of the transformational coaching industry in the US and Canada, and now she focuses all her time on training and preparing transformational coaches to facilitate deep healing in their clients.

In 2015, Ernie and Laura joined forces to launch Avalon Empowerment.

In 2019, Kelley Oswin joined as partner, bringing a wealth of wisdom and thought leadership to the community.

 They’ve worked with thousands of individuals, certified hundreds of coaches, and they thrive on teaching the principles of trauma awareness and Evolved NLP to impact-driven coaches and entrepreneurs. Their combined experience, synergy, and chemistry have made this team a tour de force in the world of NLP and coach certification.

In 2020, prompted by the collective trauma caused by the pandemic and increasingly aware of the shortcomings of many trained coaches in the area of trauma-awareness, the Avalon Empowerment team designed a cutting-edge trauma awareness training for coaches and integrated it into their certification programs.

Now, in 2021, they've decided to carve out pieces of this program to bring to the entire industry.
